ProArt Group

The ProArt Paco Merino group was formed at the end of 2002, when some of Paco's friends felt that the quality and volume of his work deserved to be preserved and made known. His sad death on 11 August 2004 strengthened our resolve to carry out new non-profit activities in memory of the man and his work.

The Prize aims to add to the prestige and strong tradition of the visual arts in Granollers and the surrounding area and, above all, to encourage the artistic spirit that Paco Merino embodied: nonconformist, open and creative like few others.
